Whereas the author has written an article (construed to include short notes, reviews, and any other material published in TC) which article has never been published and the Author is sole owner of the contents thereof and of all right, title, and interest therein, it is agreed as follows:
The Author hereby assigns to TC the right to publish and distribute the said article and to create derivative work from said article. The article shall contain notice that the Author of the article retains the copyright and that if the Author subsequently publishes the article in another journal or medium such publication shall contain notice that the article was first published in TC.
The Author agrees to hold TC harmless for any unauthorized use of the article subsequent to its publication by TC in an electronic or other medium. Any distribution or publication of said article by subscribers to TC or others who obtain copies of it from the network or by any other means shall constitute an infringement of the Author's copyright.
